The VL300 LED video light from Godox is a lightweight and compact monolite-style LED light source suitable for various video and photo styles on location or in the studio.

The daylight-balanced LED has a CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI rating of 95, resulting in highly accurate color renderings and achieving extremely realistic skin tones. The VL300 fixture is powered and operated by an external controller with V-mount and DMX. This keeps the fixture compact and lightweight. It features a whisper-quiet fan and an integrated Bowens-style reflector mount, making it compatible with a variety of lighting modifiers.

By moving the V-mount battery plate and light controls out of the light body and into the self-contained controller box, you can easily place the light wherever it is needed without the added bulk and weight of large V-mount cells. The controller box comes with a 4-pin XLR power cord for easy placement. It has an antenna for the optional wireless remote control and a Bluetooth antenna for using the GodoxPhoto app on portable iOS or Android devices.

The remote control (RC-A5II) is available separately.
