Binoculars with large diameter lenses for a bright and clear field of view
Large lens elements with an effective diameter of 42 mm are used as objective lenses to ensure excellent light gathering performance. All light-transmitting surfaces of the lens elements and prisms are coated with Fujifilm's unique SUPER EBC FUJINON multilayer coating, known for its use on interchangeable lenses for the company's digital cameras to increase light transmission. The light-reflecting surfaces of the auxiliary prisms are also coated with a dielectric multi-layer coating (reflection-enhancing coating) to achieve a higher reflectance and a brighter field of view.

By using ED lens elements, chromatic aberration is effectively controlled, while the reflective surfaces of roof prisms are provided with a phase correction coating (phase coating) to achieve excellent image resolution and optimum contrast to produce clarity in the field of view. This design ensures balanced transmission of light in wavelengths within the visible range to produce natural colors that approximate what the naked eye sees.

The optimal arrangement of nine lens elements in seven groups controls distortion across the entire view from the center to the edges.

The binoculars have an 8x magnification factor and are therefore suitable for both birdwatching and stargazing.

Advanced usability and first-class design
The binoculars are made of non-slip elastomer material and an ergonomically designed, easy-grip housing shape, so they offer excellent stability when held in the hand.

The binoculars have focusing rings that provide a fine textured surface. Even with gloves on your fingers, this ensures that the focus can be controlled safely.

Thanks to the design with long eye relief, use with glasses is also unproblematic.

The binoculars are characterized by a stylish design that combines flat and curved surfaces. Milled aluminum from Alumite is used for the eyecups on the eyepiece. The premium design with metal structure, which has become synonymous with the X-series digital cameras, enhances the user's enjoyment of ownership.

Improved reliability even in outdoor use
The binoculars have a robust and lightweight magnesium alloy body and a water-repellent structure that also protects against fogging. Both the Lens and eye lenses have a water-repellent coating so that the binoculars can be used outdoors without any problems.

The front of the objective lenses is threaded for the installation of optical filters. Users can screw on various optical filters, including PL filters for backlight control, for applications in different conditions.
