Observing and photographing wildlife in their natural habitat is awe-inspiring and touches the soul. Respect for wildlife and nature should be at the top of every tour operator's list. Instead of destroying what we love, we should all work hard to protect it and raise public interest in our work. We see our work first and foremost as conservationists and use our experience to document the uniqueness of Kenya. It is our passion to introduce you to wildlife in a sustainable way. This is why we work with the best guides in the country and often far off the beaten track. We cooperate with lodges that demonstrably implement the idea of nature conservation and environmental protection and are involved in nature and species conservation projects. We work with the people who live in this country and involve the next generation in children's projects. We don't just want to give you an unforgettable experience during the safaris. The true secrets of Kenya lie in the country's Northern Circuit. In the vastness of the Samburu Depression, in the highlands of Laikipia and in the depths of the Rift Valley. The Samburu Reserve is a pearl for nature lovers and photographers. Here in northern Kenya, we encounter animals that cannot be seen in any other park. The graceful giraffe antelope, also known as gerenuk, stands on its hind legs to reach the fresh shoots of the bush savannah like a giraffe. The Graves' zebra is larger and more finely striped than the plains zebra. Samburu is also famous for its large herds of elephants. Many photos of elephant herds crossing the Ewaso Nyero Fluff originate from here. Leopards live along the course of the river and carry their prey into the treetops in order to be protected from hyenas. Cheetahs are also at home here. Then there is the magnificent landscape of the Samburu Park. Almost all of the known African big game species roam the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. In no other game reserve can you experience the "big five" so closely in action. Everything that can otherwise only be seen in spectacular nature films takes place in the Masai Mara: Hunting scenes with lions, leopards, cheetahs. But other fantastic animal sightings are also planned. In the highlands, you will encounter more than 400 rhinos and large prides of lions in the Solio Reserve, an absolute insider tip.

Itinerary

Day 1 From Nairobi to Samburu Your journey takes you to Samburu. You will first drive north through very fertile areas. We will therefore stop at various places to taste the delicious, fresh fruit. We then drive around Mt. Kenya into the Samburu Valley. The first game drive is planned for the afternoon. Accommodation at the Samburu Game Lodge. Day 2 Samburu Game Drives Life gathers along the brown river, as the Uaso Nyiro is also known. The large herds of elephants in particular come to the river every day to bathe and drink. It is impressive to see herds, often consisting of more than 20 animals, grazing along the river. Samburu is also considered one of the best areas to observe leopards, lions and cheetahs. Giraffe atilopes and Gravy's zebra can also be seen here. Day 3 From Samburu to Rhino Watch Safari Lodge The journey continues to Rhino Wacht Safari Lodge. Here, too, you will experience a great variety of species and can enjoy the view of Mount Kenya at the same time. Day 4 Day game drive in the Aberdares Today's safari takes you into the Aberdare mountain rainforest, one of the last intact rainforest refuges in Africa with an impressive bamboo forest. Although it is not easy to find, it is all the more impressive when the African forest elephant emerges from the thicket. With a bit of luck, we will also spot the leopard here! Day 5 Day game drive in the Solio Rhino Reserve The privately managed conservation reserve has been involved in the protection of white and black rhinos for decades. The animals thrive here and national parks throughout Kenya have long been supplied with young animals from this reserve. On a full-day safari, you can observe these wonderful animals at close range. Our safari jeep stops in the immediate vicinity of grazing zebras and water buffalo. There is also a large pride of lions with over 100 animals. Day 6 From Rhino Watch Safari Lodge to the Rift Valley Today we depart for the Rift Valley. We first travel to Nyah?ruru, the highest town in Kenya. Here we stop at the Thompson Falls. A short hike takes us to a hippo pool with lots of hippos. We then drive to the crater lake where we stay in a volcanic crater. A night game drive is planned. Day 7 - 10 From the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara After breakfast we travel on to the Masai Mara. From here we are only a few minutes away from large herds of animals. Over the next few days you will have time for endless photography in the Mara from the first to the last ray of light. Day 11 Departure Kenya After the morning game drive you will be driven to the airport in Nairobi to start your journey home. Note:
Please understand that game viewing cannot be guaranteed. On our photo tours you will experience intense wildlife encounters with wild animals whose behavior is unpredictable. If no sightings can be experienced, no refund or reduction of the tour price is possible. However, we will use all our experience and knowledge to provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Aurora Borealis photo tour (aurora borealis photography) in Abisko National Park, Lapland, Sweden

Aurora Borealis is one of the most fascinating astronomical natural phenomena. To experience the impressive aurora borealis, it is best to travel to the far north of Scandinavia. Because here a golden rule applies: the further north you go, the higher the probability of being able to admire the Northern Lights, even when the sun's geomagnetic activity is low. learn more

Astrophotography in Tenerife, Spain

Lyrid meteor shower, Milky Way and planet parade: Jupiter, Saturn, Mars The Lyrid meteor stream offers cosmic fireworks in April. The Lyrids are an active meteor stream that occurs every spring from April 16 to 26. For an astrophotographer, the meteors are a perfect photo motif. On the one hand, because they move relatively slowly across the night sky at a geocentric speed of 48 km/sec and, on the other hand, because sometimes relatively bright specimens, the so-called fireballs, can be seen. The name of the meteor shower Lyrids is derived from the constellation Lyra (Latin lyra)? the ancient plucked instrument Lyra. learn more
