Our smallest compact flash yet. It's small, light and portable: just the size of a standard can of Coke.

You can really take this flash anywhere.
Just pop it in your backpack or jacket pocket and you're ready to shoot your surroundings, wherever you are. Whether you're shooting a wedding, an awards ceremony or a restaurant, the Profoto A2 is perfect when space is limited and time is short.

Like all Profoto flashes, the A2 is easy and intuitive to use.
It only takes a breath from unpacking to the first trigger. Yes, it comes with an instruction manual. And no, you probably won't need to read it.

And thanks to its built-in AirX connectivity, the A2 is compatible with the rest of the world of Profoto products.
You can use the A2 as part of a wider lighting system and shoot with any camera, even a smartphone. In addition, you have the freedom to choose where you want to manage your settings.
Either via the user-friendly large display on the flash, or via the Profoto app. It's up to you!

But more than anything else, the Profoto A2 is a creative tool.

Product description for Profoto Connect Sony

Profoto Connect is the buttonless trigger that connects your camera and your Profoto flash unit. This makes light shaping easier than ever. The device has only three settings: "Auto", "Manual" and "Off". In Auto mode, you simply press your camera shutter button and get a good exposure because the flash output is calculated automatically. In manual mode ("Manual"), you can fine-tune the flash either manually or via the Profoto app.

The Profoto app is available for the iPhone from model 7 with iOS 11 or later. Only with this app can you fully control the Profoto Connect and perform firmware upgrades.

The Profoto Connect makes it easier than ever to create natural-looking and appealing light anywhere, anytime. It has no buttons and only three settings: "Auto", "Manual" and "Off". In Auto mode, you simply press your camera shutter button and get a good exposure because the flash output is calculated automatically. By switching to manual mode, you can adjust and control the light even more precisely, either manually or via the Profoto app. This makes the Profoto Connect the perfect entry-level trigger that you can continue to develop with. Whether you already have experience with artificial light or it's your first steps in the world of flash, you now have natural and beautiful light at your fingertips, tailored to your personal needs.
