Who doesn't want more options when shooting at long distances? The wide focal range of 180 - 600 mm covers the most popular focal lengths for wildlife, bird and aviation photography, and offers plenty of flexibility for sports and landscape photography. Thanks to the closest focusing distance of only 2.4 m at 600 mm and 1.3 m at 180 mm, you can achieve sharp shots even at close range.

Outstanding agility
No matter what subject you want to photograph: With the light weight (about 1955g) of this full-frame super telephoto zoom lens, even more shots and locations come within reach. You'll travel lighter than expected, and the internal zoom allows for balanced handheld shooting: zoom in or out, and pan or tilt, all without a tripod. You may even discover entirely new perspectives!

Pinpoint Autofocus
Autofocus is optimized for capturing fast-moving subjects like birds, wildlife, sports and aircraft - whether you're shooting stills or video. The high-speed stepping motor (STM) is extremely quiet during focusing and movie recording. This is especially good for photographing shy wildlife. Subject tracking is highly reliable when used with Nikon mirrorless Z cameras that have Animal or Vehicle Subject Detection.

Powerful Image Stabilization in the Lens
Nikon's Image Stabilizer (VR), built into the Lens, compensates for camera shake caused by handheld shooting, panning, tripod vibration - you name it - giving you a 5.5-stop advantage. You can shoot with longer exposure times without sacrificing sharpness. This is ideal in low light. Nikon 180-600
Das Objektiv war einer der Gründe warum ich damals einen Systemwechsel zu Nikon gemacht habe. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Innengezoomt, Wetterfest, scharf (auch wenn abblenden manchmal hilft) und auch mit dem 1.4 TC noch gut nutzbar. Einzig das Gewicht könnte etwas leichter sein.

Ich verwende das Objekt ohne Stativ und es macht tolle Bilder, etwas schwer aber ich nehme es eigentlich immer! Auch Stundenlang im Zoo oder Wanderungen!
