The NiSi ultra-thin UV filter uses a double-sided multi-layer lens technology that utilizes high-quality UV-absorbing optical glass. It ensures high transmittance and a very smooth surface that avoids unnecessary reflections. The frame is made of brass using high-precision brass milling. The NiSi 112mm Circular NC UV filter has an exclusive "U" type anti-reflective nano-coating and a hardened waterproof coating. The filter cuts UV light below 365 nm and has 9 layers of nano-coating on each side of the filter. The transmittance of the UV filter is extremely high at 99.3%.

The UV filter is also suitable as a general protective filter that remains on the lenses at all times. Filters reduce the ingress of dust and moisture into your lens element and provide additional protection in the event of drops or scratches.
