True greatness comes from within
Optics in Ultimate High End
The compact and lightweight Leica Geovid Pro binoculars with 32 mm objective lens diameter achieve an optical performance that was previously only known from the field of pure special binoculars without rangefinders. One reason for the high optical performance is the Perger-Porro prisms used by Leica. The Leica Geovid Pro 32 can be used without restriction wherever precise detail reproduction is required. Color brilliance, contrast and sharpness of the image are essential for identifying animal species, for example. Thanks to the high light transmission combined with the large field of view, the Leica Geovid Pro 32 can replace premium binoculars without compromise and the additional features make it an absolute universal binocular.

Rangefinding to the point
The laser rangefinder built into the Leica Geovid Pro 32 incorporates the experience and innovations from 30 years of Leica sports optics research and development. By measuring the transit time of a laser beam emitted and reflected at the speed of light, the distance to the target is calculated with minimal tolerances. The laser in the Leica Geovid Pro 32 is safe and robust. At close range, objects such as grass and branches are masked out to prevent incorrect measurements. At greater distances, the dual-target logic ensures that only the desired object is actually measured.

Ballistics at the highest level of development
The Leica Geovid Pro 32 works with the most advanced ballistics program. It uses a ballistics computer in the binoculars and a ballistics app in the smartphone. The binoculars and smartphone communicate via Bluetooth®. This means that settings selected in the app (data configuration) can be transferred to the binoculars (computer) and the binoculars can transfer measurement data to the app. Instead of the app, a Kestrel® anemometer can be connected to the binoculars.
The Applied Ballistics Ultralight® software supplied ex works already offers a database of G1/G7 data and more than 740 factory ammunition cartridges. The extensive Leica database is also available. The basic version calculates trajectories and the corresponding corrections for the exact stopping point up to 875 yards. Upgrades to the Applied Ballistics Sportsman® and Applied Ballistics Elite® versions are easily possible. This enables further calculation distances and additional features. The Leica Geovid Pro 32 enables accurate shooting at short, medium and long distances. Special requirements can also be met by entering wind direction and wind speed. The accuracy of +/- 0.25 yds to 200 yds provides the measurement results that archers need.
Existing Leica.COM rangefinder binoculars continue to work with the Leica ABC software. The new ballistics app will later replace the previous Leica Hunting App. It will then be possible to create a profile in the new app as usual, which will be used by the ABC software after transfer to a .COM device. In version 1.0, two apps will be available in parallel.

Tracking to the terrain point with LPTTM (Leica ProTrack)
In addition to the rangefinder, the Leica Geovid Pro 32 has a built-in compass. In conjunction with the ballistic calculator, the Leica Geovid Pro 32 can determine geographical positions in the terrain. The position of the last distance measurement is automatically saved and can be called up for target guidance. This means that the Leica Geovid Pro 32 is able to guide the hunter safely to the target or to another point previously determined in the terrain. This is done via the smartphone display. A simple compass needle or even a map based on Google Maps® or BaseMap® appears here. The compass needle can be used to easily determine the direction of travel to the destination. On the Google Maps® or BaseMap® background maps, the hunter can even see the position of the target embedded in a graphical terrain display. This makes the route to the target simple and safe, even under difficult conditions. This sophisticated and high-precision GPS tracking feature meets the long-standing demand for an aid for the fast and hunter-friendly search for game that has been shot at.

Ergonomics in a miniature format
The special grip of the Leica Geovid Pro 32 is the result of its open bridge design. This means that the binoculars can be held firmly and yet relaxed with one hand. Even prolonged observation is possible without fatigue. The number of controls has been reduced to a minimum and the buttons are easily accessible. The Leica Geovid Pro 32 is easy to operate when wearing gloves. The gently curved shape, the overall very compact dimensions and the low weight make the Leica Geovid Pro 32 an unobtrusive everyday companion that even fits in a belt pouch.
Unlimited areas of application

The small design, precise rangefinding and top optical performance comparable to premium binoculars without rangefinder make the Leica Geovid Pro 32 suitable for universal use. Especially when hunting in the mountains and stalking, the hunter can move around with ease and rely on the high performance of the Leica Geovid Pro 32 in all conditions. The Leica Geovid Pro 32 is an essential piece of equipment for every hunting trip, enabling hunters to be prepared for any hunting situation in any part of the world without compromising on pack size. Thanks to the high light transmission and the unprecedented contrast of Leica laser binoculars, the Leica Geovid Pro 32 is even suitable for twilight despite its small objective lens diameter of 32 millimeters. At higher twilight levels and in complete darkness, the Leica Calonox thermal devices come into their own and, together with the Leica Geovid Pro 32, form an unbeatable duo for unrestricted 24-hour observation at the highest level.
