The Celeste filter series has been specially developed for professional photographers and offers excellent light reflection performance combined with an Anti-Stain Coating (ASC) and a newly designed, fashionable frame with high ergonomic properties. Celeste filters promise satisfaction for every professional photographer with the highest demands on quality and maintenance routine. The Celeste filter series guarantees almost no negative interference with the light.
Origin of the name
From the Latin word "caelestis", meaning great, something beyond human capabilities, and the Italian "celeste", meaning the color of the clear sky, the Celeste filter series promises the photographer the best optical performance and superior benefits.
C-PL effect
The Celeste C-PL filter effectively suppresses reflections from non-metallic objects, suppresses glare from water surfaces and increases the contrast and saturation of outdoor shots with deeper color tones. At the same time, the C-PL filter protects the expensive front optical element of the Lens from physical damage.
Extremely low light reflection
The Celeste C-PL uses an 18-layer Super ZR coating - an improved version of the Kenko ZETA filter series that delivers amazing light reflection results. Thanks to this coating technology, the light reflectance remains at 0.3%, which is incredibly low for C-PL filters.
Anti-staincoating
In addition to excellent light transmission, Celeste C-PL also offers impressive water and oil repellent properties thanks to the anti-stain coating (ASC). The anti-stain coating is applied to both sides of the glass to make maintenance of the filter easier and more effective. There is less risk of dust sticking to the filter and scratching the filter when wiping the surface with cleaning paper.
Water and oil repellent
ASC effectively repels water, oil and dirt, so that the filter surface remains clear under various pick-up conditions. Frequent cleaning or wiping off of dust is no longer necessary. This ensures a long product life compared to other brand filters, whose coating peels off more quickly when the filter is wiped more frequently.
Highly transparent polarizing film
Thanks to the highly transparent polarizing film, Celeste C-PL lets 25% more light through (equivalent to 1 aperture) than other brand filters.

All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. You assume full responsibility for your content.
