  • 3 filters for 3 different aperture settings
  • for lens diameters from: 49 mm - 96 mm

By using COKIN gray filters, photographers and filmmakers can influence the light hitting the sensor as required and desired. This makes it possible to film with an open aperture or to take open-aperture portraits. By extending the shutter speed, effects such as "misty water" or "distorted cloud formations" can also be achieved.
The FULL-ND-KIT contains the following filters:

  • 1x ND2 filter Z152 (-1 f-stop)
  • 1x ND4 filter Z153 (-2 f-stops)
  • 1x ND8 filter Z154 (-3 f-stops)

This COKIN FULL ND kit is suitable for lens diameters from: 49 mm - 96 mm. The ideal set to add a set of gray filters to your existing Cokin equipment.

Gray filters can be used in outdoor photography, landscape photography and studio photography. Not all cameras have shutter speeds beyond 1/4000 of a second. Therefore, in many cases it is necessary to stop down, although this is not desired. The same applies to studio photography. There the synchronization time fluctuates between 1/160 and 1/250 (if no HiSpeed Synch is available), which makes a portrait with open aperture impossible for some subjects. Gray filters provide a remedy in both cases. These color-neutral filters can compensate for up to 3 f-stops.

This opens up various possibilities for photographers and filmmakers for the creative realization of projects. As already mentioned, the aperture can be opened by up to three stops or the exposure time can be extended accordingly. This makes it possible to achieve special effects such as "misty water" or distorted, dynamic cloud formations.

The plug-in system essentially consists of three elements:

  • 1. Filter
  • 2. Filter holder
  • 3. Adapter ring

The filter holder and adapter ring are not included in this set, but can be ordered to suit the respective requirements.

Cokin filter discs are made from high-quality special plastics. Over the years, this has resulted in more than 180 different creative filter versions that are sure to delight amateurs and professionals alike. The modular Cokin system even saves photographers and filmmakers money. Screw-in filters require a new purchase if the filter is to be used on a Lens with a different diameter. In most cases, Cokin only requires the purchase of a new adapter ring with a suitable diameter.
