  • Cokin Filter Holder P
  • for Lenses with filter thread up to 82 mm
  • the filter holder snaps onto the adapter ring, which is screwed into the filter thread of the Lens

The filter holder is literally the central element in the COKIN plug-in filter system. The adapter ring is screwed into the screw thread of the Lens so that the Cokin filter holder can then be attached to it. In other words, the filter holder plays the supporting role: the filter disk can simply be pushed into the filter holder from above. The advantage is obvious:

Instead of purchasing a separate, expensive screw-in filter for all the Lenses in the photo backpack, a much less expensive adapter ring in the appropriate size is sufficient. The various filters can thus be moved around variably, depending on composition and need, providing great creative freedom for photographer and filmmaker.

COKIN P series is aimed at users of mirrorless system cameras and medium DSLRs with standard Lenses. The filter size is virtually the medium version of the system.
