The ColorChecker Classic Target is designed to reproduce true-to-lifecolors for photographers and filmmakers
The ColorChecker Classic Target is designed to reproduce true-to-life colors so photographers and filmmakers can predict and control how color will appear under different lighting.

Each of the 24 colors represents the actual color of natural objects and reflects light just like its counterpart in the real world.

Ideal for photographers and filmmakers.
The natural colors correspond to natural objects, such as skin, leaves or the blue of the sky.

They exemplify the colors of their counterparts and reflect light just as well in all parts of the natural spectrum. The color fields therefore correspond to the natural objects even with different lighting and on different substrates. Each color patch has an individual formula to produce a pure, rich color.

The ColorChecker Classic is versatile, including:
digital photography: create camera profiles, review images, correct white balance and make color corrections.
traditional photography on film: check film, light, torture and paper
film production: color correction; camera and light control
graphics editing: check prints and proofs
other industry applications

Now even more powerful: create both custom ICC and DNG camera profiles!
ColorChecker Targets have been used by color perfectionists for ten years to create custom DNG profiles for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop workflows. Now you can also create custom ICC camera profiles for use in Capture One (or other ICC-compatible software) when you combine the ColorChecker Target with ColorChecker Camera Calibration software. You'll get accurate colors based on a specific combination of lighting, camera and Lens during a shoot, saving valuable editing time.
