  • 50mm f/1.4 - fast tilt lens
  • lightweight and compact
  • Lens can be tilted up to ±15 degrees in all directions
  • captured subjects can be sharp from front to back
  • beautiful circular bokeh
  • manual aperture adjustment

The 50mm Tilt Lens not only looks extraordinary, it is extraordinary. The mount of this fast 50mm Lens is spherical and so the Lens can be tilted in all directions up to 15 degrees. This mechanism can be locked with a locking ring. In the normal setting without tilt, the Lens is a fast universal normal lens. For tilting, the Lens can be tilted up to ±15 degrees in all directions. This opens up new creative possibilities. (It should be noted, however, that slight vignetting may occur in the corners of full-frame sensors when tilting) Tilting allows the focal plane to be tilted. Recorded subjects can thus be kept sharp from front to back even at full aperture. For example, a fence or a house shot at an angle will be completely sharp, but everything to the side of it will disappear in blur. In the close-up range, tilting produces a kind of "Alice in Wonderland" effect. Small figures, model cars, miniature landscapes appear really big by tilting the plane of focus. The optical construction of 7 elements in 6 groups ensures excellent optical quality, and the aperture with its 12 blades, which can be continuously adjusted from f/2.8 to f/16, provides a beautiful circular bokeh. The Lens has a diameter of 50mm, a length of 75mm and weighs 339 grams. A 46mm filter thread allows the use of common screw-in filters. Distance and aperture are set manually.

LIVE-TALK: Voigtländer - Lenses with charm

In a live talk, we spoke with Hamburg-based photographer Philip Rösler about Voigtländer lenses. We talked about what makes the charm and look of these lenses so special, which lenses Philip particularly likes to use and what results you can achieve with Voigtländer lenses. As with his camera, the Leica M10, the handling, look and feel of his lenses is particularly important to Philip. Do the Voigtländer lenses meet these requirements?
